About Program
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is one of India’s most competitive national-level examinations conducted jointly by IITs and IISc. It assesses a candidate’s conceptual understanding, analytical ability, and technical competence in engineering, technology, and science disciplines.
GATE serves as a gateway to postgraduate admissions, MS, and PhD in premier institutions such as IITs, NITs, IISc, IIMs and also opens opportunities in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and research organizations.
